Commercial Loan Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of commercial loans, the full-time Contract Commercial Loan Specialist will perform loan setup, processing, and servicing tasks while collaborating with the operations team in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial setup and data entry for new commercial loans, including onboarding borrowers and associated accounts
• Manage the lifecycle of existing loans by processing renewals, amendments, and daily loan transactions
• Conduct post-booking quality control and reconcile General Ledger and Demand Deposit Account records

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Loan Processing/Servicing at a commercial or community bank
• Proficiency with nCino and extensive experience with FIS/IBS core banking systems
• In-depth knowledge of loan processes, documentation review, and collateral management
• Experience with General Ledger and Demand Deposit Account reconciliation
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements within loan operations and handling audit inquiries
