Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriting Consultant (Commercial Middle Market).
Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and financial requirements to assess risk acceptability and pricing
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve premium, profitability, and retention goals
- Develop and maintain producer relationships to drive sales performance and pipeline growth
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 3+ years of related underwriting experience
- Knowledge of underwriting processes, coverages, and evaluation tools
- Ability to interact with internal and external business partners
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects effectively
