Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial P&C Excess Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate insurance applications to determine acceptance or decline based on underwriting guidelines
• Approve or decline applications and issue coverage while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with producers and the underwriting team to finalize applications and provide tailored guidance to clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 3 years of underwriting or related insurance experience required
• Commercial casualty underwriting experience including excess
• CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
