Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager
Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of existing commercial real estate banking relationships, the full-time salaried Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager will underwrite new loan requests and ensure adherence to credit policies and regulations while monitoring portfolio performance and risk assessment.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loan relationships to maintain asset quality and performance
- Underwrite new commercial real estate credit requests, including loan originations and modifications
- Monitor portfolio performance and compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of commercial real estate and/or commercial & industrial underwriting experience
- At least four years of portfolio management experience in a banking environment
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate lending and credit risk management principles
- Experience managing a commercial real estate portfolio in the New York City metropolitan market is preferred
