Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of low- to mid-complexity non-performing commercial real estate loans, the full-time remote Commercial Real Estate Workout Officer will analyze collateral and borrower financials, negotiate solutions with clients, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of distressed multi-family loans and recommend resolution strategies
- Review and negotiate commercial loan documentation while coordinating with legal counsel
- Evaluate property performance and prepare credit memoranda for management review
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate workouts or credit risk management
- Proven ability to review and negotiate commercial loan documentation
- Experience underwriting rent-regulated multifamily properties in the NYC market
- Strong background in credit analysis and borrower negotiations
