Commercial Senior Counsel (State Licensed)

Job Summary

To support commercial contracting during a period of integration and growth, the full-time Senior Counsel - Commercial (State Licensed) will manage complex negotiations of SaaS subscription agreements and other technology contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with applicable data privacy laws.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate major technology contracts, driving standardization and risk mitigation
• Serve as an escalation point for complex deal issues and cross-functional challenges
• Collaborate with departments to close deals while protecting the business and managing vendor agreements

Required qualifications

• JD and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 7+ years of legal experience, including substantial work with SaaS and technology agreements
• Solid understanding of corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law
• Knowledge of IT security controls and frameworks
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
