Job Summary

Supporting the Southeast territory, the full-time Commercial Surety Underwriter will manage the underwriting process, underwrite and monitor commercial accounts, and develop marketing strategies to drive profitable growth, with options for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of the underwriting process for a designated group within the product line
• Underwrite and monitor commercial accounts and account lines, performing risk analysis
• Develop and execute a marketing plan targeting new brokers and attending industry functions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, risk management, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field or position
• Proven experience developing agency relationships and managing a profitable book of business
