Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Title Examiner, with multiple state experience preferred and title insurance experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Compiles, investigates, and examines public and tax records to determine liabilities and legal condition of the title
• Prepares accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company procedures
• Follows standard procedures and guidelines while managing own workload

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
• Experience in title insurance is required
• Ability to work under general supervision with limited ability to modify approach
• Experience in examining titles for commercial or industrial properties is preferred
