Commercial Title Examiner

Job Summary

To support utility and construction projects, the full-time Commercial Title Examiner will conduct comprehensive title searches, resolve defects, and ensure property titles are clear and free from encumbrances while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in sovereignty title, including examination and underwriting matters
• Provide analytical support to internal teams by reviewing legal documents, mortgages, liens, and easements
• Assist in preparing and reviewing instruments of conveyance and related documents for accuracy and completeness

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Landman or Energy Title Examiner
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Working knowledge of commercial and energy title processes
• Proven ability to examine public records related to properties
• Experience with industry-recognized title platforms, preferably RamQuest and Integrity Title Plant
