Commercial Title Examiner
Job Summary
Performing title examinations for a variety of commercial and residential properties, the full-time Commercial Title Examiner will work remotely to analyze records, determine ownership, and prepare title commitment documentation while resolving issues related to title documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Examine the chain of title for a wide range of title orders, primarily commercial and residential
- Abstract and analyze records to verify legal descriptions and completeness of records
- Prepare initial title commitment documentation and review reports for accuracy
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of directly related experience
- State license(s) if required
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Knowledge of legal terms is helpful
