Job Summary

To provide temporary legal support, the part-time Commercial Transactions Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate vendor and procurement agreements while managing a high volume of contracts in a remote setting, requiring availability during East or Central Time Zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with quick turnaround times
• Advise business stakeholders on contract interpretation, risks, and negotiating strategies
• Manage assigned matters efficiently and maintain contract workflows during the coverage period

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active admission to practice law in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of six years of experience providing commercial transactions and contract counsel
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex vendor and procurement agreements
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently with minimal supervision
