Commercial Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriting Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for policy-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming and follow-up calls, providing superior customer service
• Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while processing policy change requests
• Escalate risks beyond designated authority to appropriate personnel and assist with billing and compliance inquiries

Required Qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired but not required
• Strong computer skills including typing and CRM applications
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
