Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders, the full-time Commercial Underwriter Associate will provide superior customer service, handle policy-related inquiries, and process high-volume policy change requests in a remote or office environment.
Key responsibilities
- Effectively manage incoming calls and follow-up inquiries, addressing customer requests and concerns professionally
- Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while escalating risks beyond designated limits
- Assist with billing, compliance guidelines, and premium discrepancies, ensuring timely processing of policy changes
Required qualifications
- One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
