Commercial Underwriter Associate

Job Summary

Serving as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders, the full-time remote Commercial Underwriter Associate will manage policy-related inquiries, provide superior customer service, and process high-volume policy change requests while exercising underwriting authority.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively handle all incoming calls and follow-up calls, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries
• Research policy information and escalate risks beyond designated authority to senior underwriters or management
• Process policy change requests and assist with questions related to billing and compliance guidelines

Required qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
