A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter I responsible for underwriting loans and managing the underwriting process.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite a variety of lending products efficiently while adhering to credit policies and standards
• Collaborate with Business Development Officers and analyze new deal packages, conducting initial interviews with prospects
• Prepare credit narratives for approval and mentor analysts and less experienced representatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of business acumen and customer focus
• Ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively
