Commercial Underwriter III
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter III to conduct credit and financial analyses for new loan requests, focusing on complex loans and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with loan officers to discuss credit requests and risk strategies
- Conduct initial reviews of loan packages to determine creditworthiness and compliance
- Prepare credit memorandums for presentation to the Credit Committee with recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7 or more years of experience in commercial credit analysis and underwriting
- Proven expertise in credit and financial analysis
- Experience in renewable energy or solar underwriting is preferred
- Familiarity with financial analysis software such as Moody's KMV or Baker Hill
