Commercial Underwriter - Renewables

Job Summary

Supporting energy and renewable energy transactions, the full-time remote Commercial Underwriter - Renewables will apply underwriting expertise to identify and resolve title issues related to solar, wind, and other energy projects while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide underwriting support and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies
• Review and analyze property records and title searches for energy-related transactions
• Coordinate with title, escrow, legal, and customer teams to resolve title issues and facilitate transactions

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of title underwriting experience, preferably in commercial settings
• Experience with title transactions involving energy, renewable energy, or project finance
• Strong understanding of title insurance concepts and real property interests relevant to energy projects
• Proven ability to analyze complex property records and identify title matters affecting energy assets
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus
