Commercial Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

Providing superior customer service, the full-time Commercial Underwriting Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for insureds and lienholders, handling policy-related inquiries and processing high-volume policy change requests, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively handle all incoming calls and follow-up calls, managing customer inquiries throughout the shift
• Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while escalating risks beyond designated authority levels
• Process policy change requests and assist with billing, compliance guidelines, and premium discrepancies

Required qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
