Commercial Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

Providing superior customer service, the full-time Commercial Underwriting Associate will manage policy-related inquiries and resolve customer issues while working remotely across various states.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls and follow-up calls, ensuring effective communication throughout the shift
• Research policy information and exercise underwriting authority while processing high-volume policy change requests
• Escalate risks beyond designated authority to appropriate underwriters or management as needed

Required qualifications

• One (1) year or more of related Property & Casualty experience
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in typing, spreadsheets, and CRM applications
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
