Commercial Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage team of analysts in the Risk Operations and Underwriting department
• Develop and maintain large dollar credit strategy and prepare credit memorandums for approval
• Monitor and resolve issue tickets, perform due diligence for client underwriting, fraud alert, and line increases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial services industry
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial underwriting, including small business financial analysis
• Experience with commercial credit bureau data and managerial experience
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
• Flexibility to integrate new credit, verifications, and fraud data sources into workflow
