Commercial Underwriting Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing daily leadership for a team of Underwriters, the full-time Commercial Underwriting Supervisor will ensure underwriting quality and productivity while coaching associates and executing underwriting initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise an assigned team of Underwriters, ensuring adherence to underwriting quality and productivity standards
• Coach Underwriting associates through performance feedback, file reviews, and referral guidance
• Analyze underwriting performance data to identify trends and communicate insights to leadership

Required qualifications

• 7 years of experience in commercial multi-line underwriting
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Completion of Associate in Underwriting program and CPCU designation preferred
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
