Commission Analyst

Job Summary

To ensure accurate commission expense recording and timely processing of facility commission payments, the full-time remote Commission Analyst will review contractual terms, reconcile revenue data, and analyze commission expense trends while collaborating with various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and implement financial contractual terms to ensure accurate commission calculations
• Reconcile revenue data with the general ledger and resolve variances in collaboration with Revenue Accounting and IT
• Analyze commission expense trends and respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding commission matters

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of business experience, including data analytics and commission calculations
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• 1+ year of experience interpreting contractual terms related to commissions or royalties
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with SOX compliance
