Commissions Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commissions Accountant to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the end-to-end commissions accounting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP
• Calculate, validate, and report commissions and variable compensation for the global sales organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of relevant accounting and/or commissions operations experience
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606) and commission capitalization
• Experience in a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Familiarity with NetSuite and commission platforms like Spiff, Xactly, or CaptivateIQ is a strong advantage
