Commissions Accountant

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing revenue engine, the full-time remote Commissions Accountant will administer the entire commissions accounting process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and report commissions for the global sales organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the end-to-end commissions accounting process, including monthly accruals and reporting in accordance with ASC 606 and US GAAP
• Perform calculation, validation, and reporting of commissions and variable compensation across the global sales organization
• Partner with Sales Operations, Payroll, FP&A, and Revenue Accounting to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of relevant accounting and/or commissions operations experience
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606) and commission capitalization
• Experience working in a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Familiarity with commission platforms such as Spiff, Xactly, or CaptivateIQ
