Commodity Manager
Job Summary
Developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies, the full-time salaried Commodity Manager will optimize costs and improve working capital while collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships, with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days a week from locations in West Bend, WI, Yankton, SD, or Madison, SD.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute sourcing strategies to optimize costs and improve working capital for purchased parts
- Lead supplier negotiations, manage supplier performance metrics, and drive material productivity initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering on new product development to align design with strategic supply base and deliver cost-effective products
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a technical field
- 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience
- Proven ability to lead supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies
- Experience with manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics
- CPSM, CPM, or LSS certifications are a plus
