Commodity Manager

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and performance of assigned commodities, the full-time Commodity Manager will manage supplier relationships, develop strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensure alignment between technical requirements and commercial strategies in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of assigned commodities, including strategy development and supplier selection
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and suppliers to ensure effective sourcing of technical requirements
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans based on market analysis and long-term business needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Strategic Sourcing or Commodity Management within a Manufacturing Environment
• Strong negotiation skills and expertise in cost analysis and market intelligence
• Ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering teams and external suppliers
