Commodity Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a New Equipment & Modernization Non-Otis Commodity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category-specific sourcing strategies to manage spend and achieve savings targets
• Lead RFP/RFQ activities for NE/MOD contracts and manage supplier performance within assigned commodity categories
• Oversee material procurement and logistics, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with purchasing terms

Required Qualifications

• BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering
• 4-6 years of related experience in a supply chain function or elevator field experience
• Experience with vendor sourcing and familiarity with Global JDE and associated systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
• Ability to read engineering drawings and customer specifications
