Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with engineering and security teams, the fully remote Common Criteria Security Engineer will support cybersecurity product certification and security assurance initiatives by guiding products through the European Common Criteria certification process and contributing to secure product development.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with development, product, and security stakeholders to integrate Common Criteria requirements into system architecture and product design
• Create and maintain certification documentation, including Security Targets and technical evidence packages
• Perform threat modeling exercises and security assessments to address risks identified during evaluation efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in security engineering, software development, or a similar technical environment
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture concepts
• Experience in domains such as Identity & Access Management, network security, or cloud security
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex certification requirements into actionable deliverables
