Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support security certification initiatives across European markets, the long-term remote Common Criteria Security Engineer will collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to develop secure products and guide them through Common Criteria certification efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to integrate Common Criteria security requirements into product design and development
• Prepare and maintain certification artifacts, including Security Targets, technical evidence, and supporting documentation
• Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling exercises, and risk assessments to identify certification gaps

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, systems engineering, or product security
• Knowledge of security architecture, secure software development practices, and SDLC methodologies
• Experience with Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408), Security Targets, Protection Profiles, or Evaluation Assurance Levels is highly preferred
• Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or similar credentials are a plus
