Common Criteria Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support the design and certification of security-focused products, the remote Common Criteria / FIPS Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements, engaging in documentation, technical reviews, and validation activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering teams to develop products that meet certification requirements
- Support Common Criteria certification efforts, including documentation and evidence collection
- Review product architectures and security controls for certification readiness
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, compliance, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance and certification programs
- Understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture principles
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and evaluate products against compliance standards
