Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with engineering teams, the remote contract Common Criteria Security Engineer will support secure product development and drive Common Criteria certification initiatives through the design and enhancement of products, documentation, and compliance efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance products in alignment with Common Criteria certification requirements
• Develop Security Targets (STs) and coordinate the collection of technical evidence and documentation for certification initiatives
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and vulnerability assessments to ensure certification readiness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience supporting Common Criteria certification efforts, including ST development and compliance documentation
• Strong understanding of product security architectures and security controls
• Knowledge of threat modeling and remediation practices within secure development environments
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support certification activities
