Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Common Criteria Security Engineer residing on the East Coast, who will guide security product evaluations and certification efforts in alignment with the European Common Criteria framework while collaborating with engineering teams to achieve certification objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide security product evaluations and certification efforts according to the European Common Criteria framework
• Develop, review, and maintain security documentation, including Security Targets and design specifications
• Partner with software development and quality assurance teams to integrate Common Criteria requirements throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline
• Hands-on knowledge of the European Common Criteria framework and certification processes
• Experience creating or reviewing technical security documentation and compliance artifacts
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and risk assessment methodologies
