Common Criteria Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support the design and certification of security-focused products, the remote Common Criteria / FIPS Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements, focusing on documentation, technical reviews, and validation activities.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop products that meet Common Criteria and FIPS certification standards
- Assist in the creation of Security Targets and certification documentation while supporting FIPS 140 validation activities
- Evaluate product architectures and security controls for certification readiness and compliance with regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, compliance, or related technical disciplines
- Experience with regulatory compliance and security assessment initiatives
- Understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture principles
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and assess products against compliance standards
