Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting secure product development, the remote contract Common Criteria Security Engineer will collaborate with engineering teams to achieve Common Criteria certification by developing Security Targets and evaluating product architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and enhance products in alignment with Common Criteria certification requirements
• Develop Security Targets and coordinate the collection of technical evidence and documentation for certification initiatives
• Conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance and certification readiness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience supporting Common Criteria certification efforts, including Security Target development and compliance documentation
• Strong understanding of product security architectures and technical documentation review processes
• Knowledge of threat modeling, security design reviews, and remediation practices in secure development environments
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support certification and recertification activities
