Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting product evaluations and certification efforts, the fully remote Common Criteria Security Engineer will guide security documentation development, collaborate with engineering teams, and conduct security assessments to ensure compliance with the European Common Criteria framework for candidates residing on the East Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Guide security product evaluations and certification efforts in alignment with the European Common Criteria framework
• Develop, review, and maintain security documentation including Security Targets and design specifications
• Partner with software development and quality assurance teams to integrate Common Criteria requirements throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a related discipline
• Hands-on knowledge of the European Common Criteria framework and certification processes
• Experience creating or reviewing technical security documentation and compliance artifacts
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and risk assessment methodologies
