Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with engineering teams, the remote contract Common Criteria Security Engineer will focus on achieving Common Criteria certification by developing Security Targets, evaluating product architectures, and conducting security assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance products in alignment with Common Criteria certification requirements
• Develop Security Targets and coordinate the collection of technical evidence for certification initiatives
• Conduct threat modeling and security design reviews to ensure compliance and certification readiness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in supporting Common Criteria certification efforts, including Security Target development
• Strong understanding of product security architectures and compliance documentation processes
• Knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and remediation practices
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party evaluation laboratories
