Common Criteria Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design, development, validation, and certification of security-focused products, the remote Common Criteria / FIPS Security Engineer will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Common Criteria and FIPS 140 certification requirements, while managing certification documentation and security assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to design products that meet Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements
• Support certification efforts, including Security Target development and evidence collection
• Review product architectures and security controls for certification readiness and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or compliance-related roles
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security assessment initiatives
• Understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture principles
• Ability to evaluate products against compliance standards and interpret technical requirements
