Common Criteria Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support the design and certification of security-focused products, the fully remote Common Criteria / FIPS Security Engineer will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with Common Criteria and FIPS 140 standards, manage certification documentation, and conduct technical reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering teams to design and develop products that meet Common Criteria and FIPS certification requirements
- Support Common Criteria certification efforts, including Security Target development and evidence collection
- Review product architectures and security controls for certification readiness and compliance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, compliance, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance and certification programs
- Understanding of secure software development practices and security architecture principles
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and evaluate products against compliance standards
