Communication Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a part-time capacity, the Communication Specialist will engage with reporters regarding sensitive workplace concerns, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while maintaining confidentiality and supporting organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with reporters to instill confidence and ensure their information is handled appropriately
• Answer calls and follow the intake process while exercising good judgment to meet callers' needs
• Lead guided interviews with reporters, focusing on the quality and accuracy of report details

Required qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills with a strong results orientation
• Ability to demonstrate emotional resilience in distressing situations
• Weekend availability, with the ability to work at least one weekend day per week
• Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM and experience using MS Office
• Desire to learn and experiment with AI tools in the workplace
