Communications Adjunct Faculty Member

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Communications Adjunct Faculty Member.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach Communications courses for online undergraduate and graduate degree programs
• Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
• Potentially cover courses such as Environmental Communication, Communicating to Stakeholders, Crisis Communication, Multimedia Communication, and Writing for Environmental Professionals

Required Qualifications:

• Terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DVM) in the discipline or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
• Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable
• Prior experience in leadership development, professional communications, and project management
• Efficient operation of a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the university
