Communications Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting the communications and marketing team, the part-time hourly Communications Assistant will develop content related to campaigns and events, conduct research for storytelling, and assist in influencer strategy development while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content for legislative moments, campaigns, and events while coordinating review workflows
• Research new storytelling methods and create performance reports for earned media
• Assist in the development of an influencer strategy by identifying relevant content creators

Required qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student studying environmental science or communication
• Experience with content development and storytelling techniques
• Familiarity with analytics reporting and performance tracking
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders
• Interest in conservation and environmental issues
