Communications Associate

Job Summary

Supporting Discord's corporate storytelling, the full-time Communications Associate will manage communications workflows, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and enhance internal processes while working remotely or from the Bay Area office.

Key responsibilities

• Organize team structure and improve internal communications processes across the organization
• Coordinate between internal partners and manage incoming press requests
• Maintain and update talking points documents and messaging resources while tracking media opportunities

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in communications, either in-house or agency
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex workflows
• A collaborative team player who can navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities
• Resourceful with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work quickly
• Familiarity with Discord and/or gaming culture is a plus
