Communications Associate
Job Summary
Proactively identifying compelling stories and media opportunities, the full-time Communications Associate will support media relations, content development, and communications campaigns in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support earned media strategies to enhance visibility for Hispanic Access and its community leaders
- Develop and maintain a story bank while drafting and editing various communications materials
- Assist in executing integrated communications campaigns across multiple channels
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or related fields
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills for diverse audiences and platforms
- Experience with media relations, including research, pitching, and outreach
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
