Job Summary

Supporting the Oregon Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, the full-time Communications Coordinator will manage internal and external communications, develop promotional materials, and implement communication strategies to enhance the center's profile and facilitate research study recruitment.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with stakeholders to share information and facilitate recruitment for research studies
  • Develop and implement communication strategies, including creating promotional materials and managing web content
  • Utilize independent judgment and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and collaborate with team members
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience with public-facing communication and engagement
  • Skills in content strategy, digital content marketing, and website content management
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to translate complex information for public audiences
