Communications Course Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Part-Time Faculty Communications Course Instructor to deliver online courses, engage with students, and support retention efforts while adhering to university standards and guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks and engage actively with students in assigned courses through the learning management system
• Provide timely feedback on student submissions and maintain accurate records of student grades
• Host live class sessions and assist in university retention efforts by reporting student engagement concerns

Required qualifications

• Terminal degree in Communication, Organizational Communication, Strategic Communication, or Public Relations
• 18 graduate credit hours in the program discipline
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• Minimum of 2 years of online higher education teaching experience
• Strong experience with Blackboard and Canvas LMS
