Communications Director

Job Summary

A national, non-profit organization is seeking a Director of Communications to drive strategic communications and raise awareness of its mission and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the organization's communications strategy, including tracking key performance indicators
• Drive press, public relations, and media relations to secure high-impact press for the organization and its CEO
• Create compelling narratives, draft various materials, and amplify the voices of relevant messengers

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of communications and/or media relations experience
• Proven track record of landing stories in the press
• Experience supporting high-level executives in managing their communications needs
• Ability to work on multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Passionate about storytelling and committed to women's equality and diversity
