Communications Manager

Job Summary

Collaborating on external press strategy, the full-time remote Communications Manager will manage the content calendar across various channels, develop engaging story angles related to healthcare policy, and coordinate multimedia production to effectively communicate Pear Suite's mission.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with department lead on external press strategy and manage the content calendar
• Build and maintain a network of health-tech and policy reporters, pitching stories for earned media placements
• Coordinate the production of webinars, blogs, and other multimedia content with internal and external partners

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or policy communications, with at least 5 years in healthcare or health tech
• Strong background in healthcare policy, including knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and value-based care
• Active network of health-tech and policy reporters with a proven track record of media placements
• Excellent writing and editing skills across various formats including press releases and op-eds
• Proven ability to manage a multi-channel content calendar and deliver projects on deadline
