Communications Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for candidates in NYC or LA, the contract Communications Manager III will generate press releases, proofread and copyedit various publications, and write marketing copy to enhance corporate communications and public policy efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate press releases to disseminate news and information to media and the public
• Proofread and copyedit various publications, articles, and other written documents
• Gather information and write copy for use in marketing efforts

Required qualifications

• Experience in journalism or writing news, features, or marketing copy
• Strong editing and copywriting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
