Communications Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and nimble Communications Manager, the full-time remote position will drive earned media and external visibility for the organization, manage relationships with media partners, and shape the editorial calendar to enhance the organization's public voice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the earned media strategy, identifying opportunities for public engagement and securing interviews and thought leadership for organizational leaders
• Implement the strategic communications plan, setting priorities and measurable objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Build and maintain relationships with media professionals and draft press materials to promote the organization's initiatives and messages

Required qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in media relations, strategic communications, or related fields
• Proven track record of securing media coverage and elevating the public profile of senior leaders
• Strong editorial instincts and the ability to work quickly while maintaining discipline
• Experience managing editorial calendars and translating complex issues into compelling public narratives
