Job Summary

A non-profit company in the industry is seeking a Communications Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Identifying and pitching newsworthy fundraisers to reporters
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with media contacts
• Assessing news coverage and political landscape for potential opportunities to serve customers and business goals

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or relevant experience in Communications or PR
• 3-5 years of experience in PR/Communications with strong understanding of media and political landscape
• Adept at project management and ability to lead various time-sensitive projects
• Ability to work in a team and under own direction with high productivity
